Here's What Some of Our Customers Are Saying About Our Great Customer Service!Today, 01MAR10, I called Honda Windward because our CRV was again experiencing slow cranking symptoms when starting. I had taken it in on 14JAN10 for the same reasons. The battery and serpentine belt were replaced, you have records on that servicing visit. This morning, after our car barely started, I called Honda Windward at 6:35am with hopes that someone would answer because I know you don't open until 7:00am. Your Service Advisor, KRISTA SLIFE, answered and expressed genuine concern for my situation. She checked our CRV's records with your service department, then asked how soon could I bring in our car. I was so relieved. I told her that I could bring it in after dropping my wife off at work. She is a school teacher on the Kaneohe Marine Base. I arrived at Honda Windward a little past 8:00am. I was politely greeted there by a gentlemen, who directed me to KRISTA. Her immediate attention, concern, knowledge of my car's history, and courtesy turned a tough morning into one of instant comfort. By phone, KRISTA kept me updated as to what was going on. A few hours later, I had my CRV back, running perfect, with all repairs covered by warrenty. I have always been treated well at Honda Windward. The reason I am taking the time to write these comments, is to express my great appreciation for the faith I have in your staff. The safety of my family is most important to me. I am grateful that Honda Windward has "ohana" like KRISTA, creating a sense of trust through their professionalism, empathy and honesty. Her last words to me were, "have a safe day". By the way she said it, I knew she meant it. Mahalo Honda Windward for having people like her on staff, By LeonardIt was just a great car buying experience. Everyone there wanted the best for me. Howard Villa...I will be back soon.
My Review of Windward Honda: After a bad experience at another Honda dealer on Oahu I decided to try Honda
Windward. They seemed much more straight forward and caring about helping me
than the other dealer in town. It was much more of a neighborhood business feel.
I do ask more questions now regarding service for my Accord but I feel I can
trust them to take care of me. February 11,

Jason O. 5 Honda Windward Bob Laudick @ Honda Windward is a great sales associate to work with. I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Accord and the transaction was very simple and pain free. I would recommend Honda Windward as the "better" of the many Honda dealers in Hawaii. Thanks again!

Kailua, HI My husband and I purchased a 2006 Dodge Durango yesterday and would like to share our experience with you. We decided on Christmas night that we wanted to find a new vehicle. There were several listings online that we were interested - at four different dealerships all over the island. We set out at 9:00 to the first - the one closest to our house. Sadly, the Armada we were interested in sold on Christmas Eve and had not been removed from the internet ad. Onward to the next. This dealership, known for its "great sales", was not very helpful. We had a great car to trade in, but this particular dealership only wanted to give us half of what Kelly Blue Book said was a fair trade in price. We refused their deal and wasted 2 hours of our time. We then decided to check on the Durango. Although Honda Windward was the third dealership we visited, we know now it should have been the first any only. When we were checking online advertisements we came across an 06 Dodge Durango Limited with low miles. This was exactly what we were looking for. The Honda Windward website was easy to use and hand this handy button called "Make an Offer", so we did. We received an email response from Bob Laudick only a couple of hours after we sent in our offer. We spoke a little after lunch and we were on our way to see the Durange. Once there, we were greeted coming in the lot, given direction on where to park, and sent inside to speak with the internet manager, Bob. We took the Durango for a test drive through a residential area, down Kam Highway and onto the freeway, so we could better judge the handling and performance of the vehicle. Bob made sure we both drove the vehicle. After driving it, we knew it was the one we wanted to purchase. That decision made we had to return and crunch the numbers. Unlike the "great sales" dealership, Honda Windward was willing to give us fair value for our trade. They also gave us a great deal on the Durango. Once the numbers were settled, we went to see Louie Hecht in finance. Although we had already secured finance the night before, Louie was very informative and helped us choose the warranty we needed. Before we left the dealership I told Bob that I would definitely be telling everyone I know that Honda Windward was the best dealership on the island. Thanks Bob Laudick and Honda Windward for making this the best and most hassle-free truck purchase we have ever made.
This letter is a little overdue, but I purchased a
CRV in October and the experience was comfortable and pleasant.
Howard Villa and the sales crew were knowledgeable, professional and
hospitable. Specifically I want to thank Kevin Juan (in service) for
going out of his way to fit me in last minute to install the back trunk
cover. I came in to pick up my tags on November 7. My wife was 9
months pregnant with twins and I couldn't come back for a later
appointment. Kevin took my CRV and had the back cover installed in 30
minutes. Two days later, I became the father of two beautiful
daughters. Thanks guys. I also feel very safe driving my girls around
in the CRV. Mahalo Nui Loa Jeff and Maya A note From Anita...Just took home her FIT Sportis really great.! !
I know that I "could have or should have" found a less
expensive
vehicle. Or at least looked around for some other
dealership
with a lower trim level of FIT.
So just to let you know that on the way home to
Olomana,
at Castle Junction, I drove straight ahead and went
onto
the old road going down to Maunawili. The road is
narrow,
and nothing but sharp curves all the way. Now THAT is
a
test drive. I love the way the FIT handles, the
visibility is
excellent.....comfortable seats...a sheer joy to
drive! !
The 9 year old neighbor girl and her grandmother came
over
to welcome "Hondalulu" to her new home
and owner. They
brought two muffins and an orange balloon. Then we had
a
contest to see if either of them could guess the name
of the
FIT color...(Tidewater Blue)...just like a birthday
party on
Columbus Day.
.
Grandmother gave up and went home,
but
the kid lost pay-off points (in jellybeans) because I
gave
her an internet research clue to the answer. Told
her
to go home and "Google" Honda Fit Color - then look
at the 2009 color
chart. She was back in minutes - with
the correct color
name. We went inside the vehicle to explore
glove compartments & items to put in each. Also
where
to turn off the radio - she got that from owner's
manual,-
and worked the window controls, seat configurations,
door locks, etc.
She wants one.... is there a FIT
in her future (only 9 more
years and she'll be 18.) Now you have two new Believers.
I am reminded of two very old songs - lyrics to one,
"Your
lips tell me no, no, but there's yes, yes in your
eyes" (when
I first saw that color! - you
knew I would do it ! )
The other song is a lively German polka called "The
Happy
Wanderer" , so we are off to many happy road trips
along
with our regular every-day routes.
Thanks for your patience and good
service Bob Laudick and Honda Windward!
Sincerely,
Anita and Hondalulu, the
Happy Wanderers Windward's Bob Laudick, Honda's best agent. We wanted a CRV. Bob Laudick, of Honda Windward, was my preferred agent of all three dealerships on the Oahu. His respectful and no-pressure style impressed me from the beginning. Unfortunately, Windward's CRV inventory had become depleted, so I had to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, the agents I found elsewhere were not of the same calibre as Bob Laudick. Before I signed the contract I called Bob and asked for his honest assessment of the deal I had settled upon. He told me he could not have bettered the deal at Honda Windward. It was our due diligence and Bob's honesty that assured me I had settled upon a good price. Though we bought our new CRV from another dealership, we have since removed their plate frames and replaced them with Honda Windward frames. Bob Laudick and Honda Windward earned the free advertising. Bob Laudick + Windward Honda = FABULOUS!Aloha people, Bob @ Honda Windward Rocks!I've worked with Bob at Honda Windward, and I must say he is fantastic! He is the only person I'll work with. If anyone is in the market for a new car, go directly to Bob! Posted on WOMFHawaii by hawaii5-0 Honda Windward has always been great to me, any salesperson there is well

Aloha
from I am a client of one of your Just to inform you?I do not know Mr. Lehman on a personal/friend level nor am I or anyone I know friends or family of his.. This is a completely objective report and has not been solicited by Mr. Lehman whatsoever. I only know him as the salesman who sold me my car. I am a single 45 year old woman living with my older
mother and we had no transportation. I am recovering from a serious back
injury and needed a car to get me to and from my new physical therapy routine
and back and forth to the physicians. Because of your convincing
television commercials ("We'll make a believer out of you!") I
decided to go to the Now my next hurdle was trying to make a deal right over
the phone which I had never heard of before (I was terrified since this was the
first time I had ever had to buy a car on my own and was dreading this whole
car-buying experience). I needed to make a pretty solid deal over the
phone because standing or sitting for very long is painful....I just needed to
get it done quickly and with as little haggling as possible. I wanted a
nice salesman that would not give me a bunch of mumbo jumbo and who would be
straightforward and honest with me but at the same time be courteous.
Well, God answered my prayer when Mark picked up the phone! He was up
front, gave me answers I could understand, helped me understand the process,
and gave me the BEST deal I could have ever hoped for. He even came all
the way to Makakilo to pick us up and take us to Mark certainly exemplified the "make a believer out of you" motto of your company. Not only did he make me and my mother feel comfortable; we also didn't feel pushed or pressured at all. Instead of a salesman I felt as though he were an angel sent to help us experience a comfortable and smooth transaction with the nicest personality and the most honest feedback in what I thought would have been a difficult and uncomfortable situation. Well, with Mark we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! He also gave us great tips on the car we were purchasing and made suggestions that really helped us! I am so thankful for Mr. Mark Lehman! He took
such a burden off of me in this situation that I felt I MUST write to you
to inform you and anyone else who will listen how great he is. (You
should put him in one of your commercials!). I will certainly tell anyone who wants to buy a car about
Mark and refer them to him at Your service department is terrific! I bought my Honda Insight from Honda Windward seven years ago and brought it in for regular servicing. Last year I moved to Honolulu from the Windward area and took my car to a downtown dealer for servicing. That was a mistake. There's no service like Honda Windward service! It's worth the drive over the Pali to leave my car in the good hands of people like James Nakanishi. Thank you for your courteous and excellent service and for keeping my sporty little hybrid in top condition. Jackie | |

My 1993 Civic DX just died today, and I just wanted to say mahalo to you all for selling me such a wonderful car. Your staff was so helpful and knowledgable - Gunnar Hartner did such a nice job explaining all the features of the car and answering my many, many questions. The whole service department was so kind and helpful. This Civic was perfect for such a large part of my life. The price was affordable for me back when I was a new single mom. The car saw me through the military, college and the start of my grown-up career. I'm married with three children now - the whole family's a little big for the car, but with two children learning to drive, I'd hoped they'd learn on this Civic. Sadly this was not meant to be. The timing belt wore out (the fourth one in 15 years, about 120k miles). This time it broke before we could replace it and bent the engine rods. Too expensive to repair. A very sad day. So I was just thinking about how you sold me so much more than a car. This vehicle provided transportation for my family, and was a necessary part of my life. As people move away from gas-powered vehicles, I'm sure your dealership will be right there to meet the needs of many families. If I could drive to Hawaii, I'd be back at your dealership to shop again.
Mahalo, Laura B.
